 "The Guest House

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond." (Rumi, Penguin Classics, 2004)

People feel less stress and thinking clearer with mindfulness meditation. Sitting up, eyes closed, and feet flat on the floor with the thinking past or planning for the future. It's a place where we can rest and settle on our minds. Mindfulness meditation helps improves attention and memories also promotes empathy. Let go of negativity and calm both of your mind and body. Mental state that involves being fully focused on NOW, so you can accept your thoughts, emotions etc. That is also helps to heart disseas (e.g., the amygdala, anterior cingulate cortex, ventromedial prefrontal cortex, hypothalamus, and parabrachial pons; a bottom-up pathway) and improved immunity also better sleep. (Arnsten, 2009)

Mindfulness doesn't require to change yourself but we can cultivate innate qualities to benefit ourselves. That recognizes best of who we are as a human. Anyone can do that easy to learn it. Maintaining in a moment awareness of thoughts, increase ability to relax and improve self-esteem. Giving to chance to try and learn it!

It's worth a try!
